This folder contains:
- a stereo audio file with the released version of “A Cheaper Love Letter” as it appears on the album A THOUSAND RAWHIDE DIAPHRAGMS, by Maurizio Ravalico;
- a pdf with the score of the track, including all preliminary instructions;
- a folder containing the audio files of the individual player’s parts, to be loaded on to your DAW of choice.
Instructions for setting up your DAW project
- Set your project to 4/4, 104bpm.
- All audio files are stereo, 48kHz, 24 bits.
- The audio files are subdivided in consecutive sections, corresponding to the rehearsal letters as marked on the score.
- The filenames are prefixed pl.1 or pl.2 (short for player) and followed by the corresponding rehearsal letter.
- Create two stereo audio tracks on your DAW, select all audio files assigned to one player and drag and drop on to the relative track. Adjust if necessary.
- You can thus mute one player if you’re practicing the other player’s part, and easily loop individual sections if needed.
